QotD: Go Get 'Em, Tiger?
Are you a go-getter or do you wait for good things to happen to you?
Submitted by sleepybear.
I was waiting for a good QotD to come my way, but it looks like I'll have to go out and get one.
Sorry, that's not entirely fair, sleepybear - it's not as bad as some; I just wanted an excuse to shout at something and to be honest, I've been disappointed - couldn't you have asked something like,
"What is the wettest water you've ever put your hand in?"
"Tell us how you butter toast."
"How great is vox?"
"Show us how you kiss arse."
"What is the worst STD you've ever had and who gave it to you?"
"Have you been affected by suicidal thoughts recently? Bonus question: What did you do about them?!" ?
Welcome to a week of PMT.
(Mother's Day was lovely, by the way - homemade cards, lots of glitter, two new games for the DS and lunch at Bodeans - can't do a link for some reason. Arse.)

Bloody excellent question! I got the first brain training one and am proud to say that I've knocked years off my actual age by having a brain age of a mere 52-year-old. The other game was the Zelda Hourglass game, which Em had recommended. The Little Boy and I shall be playing it after I pick him up from school this arvo.
QotD: What games do you have, Lucy?
I have Super Mario Bros (I'm stuck at the end of level 6. sigh) and also Nintendogz (I love my pup) and the first Brain Training one too. I started with the brain age of 80 (err, must have been a bad day *COUGH*) but then I went down to 52, and now I am 48.
I think it'd be worth playing Brain Training while drunk. I am considering Animal Crossing next, as I am such a girl. I love my DS. I bought it for a day-long hospital appointment that would involve a lot of waiting around, and I just wish I bought it sooner. I have forgotten what life was like before it.
I love the DS. It is fantastic. We take it and the web browser away with us and it is a fantastic way of checking email, etc! I love, love, love it. There is a game that has a whole heap of card games on it. It was about AUD 40, so good value, and it has Mahjong, which I love. I'm a sucker for Super Mario Carts and Tetris.
As for pulled pork... all I can say is [raise eyebrow] hmmmmm.
Oh. And I wrote such a lovely comment back to you all and I pressed 'post' and all I got was a page that said something like "Ooops! We've f*cked up, we'd love to know how you got here, email us at www.voxeatsyourcomments.con !"
Bastards.
On the plus side, my brain age was 26 last night.
