... but seeing as I've opened up my outlook to see 241 unread emails and I can't find a clear space on my desk, I thought I'd defer total immersion in all things work for a few minutes.

That done, "Hello my voxy friends and neighbours" - I've brought back some rum 'n' raisin fudge for you all to enjoy - the bonus is that it is virtually fat-free. (Arf. Virtually - geddit?!)

Email backlogs are fun. If they're anything like mine, about 60% of emails will be about things that have already passed. Hence rewarded with "action item: nil". Aaaah, sweet poetry.

Phew. What a day. I did manage to delete quite a lot of emails of the 'complete your diary sheets' and 'cake in the basement kitchen!' variety, but most (still) need something done about. And there's a NUT strike on Thurs so I have to take half a day off. Sakes.

A nut strike? Can you make do with the fudge and cake from the basement?

Har! I'll try, but I may have to substitute my usual nut intake for gin. I'll be pist as chio (whoever he is), but it will get me through the day.
